How To Apply Sahara Refund Portal Online

Following a Supreme Court order to refund funds to the depositors of the cooperative societies of the Sahara Group, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched the CRCS–Sahara Refund portal in New Delhi on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

On March 29, 2023, the Supreme Court gave order for the transfer of Rs. 5,000 crores from the Sahara-SEBI Refund Account to the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies (CRCS) in order to be distributed to the genuine depositors in the Sahara Group of Cooperative Societies.

Eligibility:

Amit Shah said that one crore investors who had deposited ₹10,000 or more will receive the first payment of up to ₹10,000. Following the ₹5,000 crore payment, another appeal will be made for other depositors in Sahara Cooperative Societies to get the same amount back.

The Sahara refund will be available to depositors of Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, and Hamara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited prior to March 22, 2022.

Furthermore, those who deposit Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited prior to March 29, 2023 are eligible.

• Membership Number

• Deposited Account Number

• Aadhaar should be linked to an active mobile number

• Deposited Account Certificate/Passbook Details

How to Apply On Sahara Refund Portal

• Visit CRCS, the Sahara Refund Portal

• Provide the 12-digit membership number

• The last 4 digits of the Aadhaar number

• The 10-digit Aadhaar-linked mobile number, and the captcha on the Depositor Registration page.

• Give Aadhaar Number's last 4 digits and 10-digit Aadhaar-linked mobile number on Depositor

• Click on Get OTP and Enter OTP

• Press "I Agree" to give consent and accept the terms and conditions

• Provide 12-digit Aadhaar Number on Personal Details screen and click Get OTP।

• Next, Aadhaar user information, including first name, middle name, last name, birth date, and father or husband's name, will be shown।

• Also you can submit your Email ID

• Download form, than Submit Self attested Certificate of Deposit

• Include a photo as evidence.

• Submit Claim

• Be sure to correctly fill out your claims because they cannot be changed afterwards.

• Click "Upload Document" to sign the claim and the PAN card document.

• When finished, record the claim request for future use.

Amit Shah has promised a reimbursement of their hard-earned money to 1.78 crore small investors whose investments total up to Rs 30,000.
